About The Foundation

Our Mission
The Digital Community Foundation brings funds, expertise, educational, and consulting services that enable nonprofit organizations to use the internet to increase organizational capacity, fundraising effectiveness, and build awareness and support for their causes by bringing their staff, volunteers, supporters and constituents together in online, interactive communities.

Brief History
The Digital Community Foundation (DCF) began in 2007 with a deeply experienced team of professionals, each with extensive experience supporting and serving nonprofit organizations in a variety of capacities within the community.

From children advocacy groups to symphony orchestras, nonprofits supported by the Foundation have benefited from improved access to the technology, expertise, and capital they need to advance their social missions. We are proud of the role that Digital Community Foundation has already played in helping over 300 nonprofits better acquire, understand, and use information technology.
